Display & setup guides

Make every cheese display look intentional.

Tip: On desktop, choose “Save as PDF” in the print window to keep a copy for your team.

Each guide includes a visual layout idea, a compact checklist, and a downloadable reference. Use them as training tools for new staff, or as a quick refresher before service.

Refrigerated cabinets

How to turn your chilled cabinet into a curated, high-impact cheese wall that invites browsing instead of confusion.

Visual layout ideas

Use these as a starting point. Swap in your own cheeses / signage.

Layout B — “Colour blocks” using pesto, baby wheels and classics.

Quick setup checklist

  • Choose 1–2 hero cheeses for eye level (Walnut, Black Lemon, Baby wheels).
  • Group by style or colour—avoid random scattering.
  • Face wheels forward; keep cut faces neat and freshly wrapped.
  • Add simple, legible labels with flavour line & price.
  • Use odd numbers of pieces (3 or 5) for each group.
  • Keep gaps small; refill little and often rather than over-stuffing.

Layout B — Long grazing plank with repeating “mini-scenes”.

Quick setup checklist

  • Start with height and anchors — boards, boxes, cake stands.
  • Place 3–5 hero cheeses first (Walnut, Black Lemon, Maasdam, Baby wheels).
  • Add colour zones using pesto cheeses, fruit and pickles.
  • Fill gaps with crackers, nuts and grapes; avoid empty table showing through.
  • Keep knives and tongs within easy reach, not hidden behind decor.
  • Take a quick photo for consistency next time.

Quick setup checklist

  • Start with basket filling (shred, paper, fabric) for cushioning.
  • Place cheeses first, labels facing up and easy to read.
  • Use odd numbers of items for balance (3, 5, 7).
  • Surround cheeses with smaller items (crackers, jam, nuts, bottle).
  • Leave a small “hero” gap at the front for logo or message card.
  • Do a gentle shake test to make sure nothing rolls around.

Quick setup checklist

  • Separate mild, flavoured and strong cheeses into clear zones.
  • Use portion-friendly cuts to avoid guests sawing at large blocks.
  • Keep utensils obvious and clean — one per cheese group where possible.
  • Top up in small waves instead of one huge refill.
  • Wipe edges and boards between refills for a professional look.
  • Signage: fewer words, bigger font, clear allergens icon if needed.

  • Test layouts in turbulence scenarios—nothing should roll off easily.

  • Mix 1–2 familiar cheeses with 1–2 discovery flavours.
  • Keep knives, plates and side boards ready for quick serving after photos.
